Sugar Scrub

Homemade Sugar Scrub

Sugar scrub is the ideal thing to use to smooth and repair dry skin. In the winter season my hands crack and starts bleeding. Summer is the ideal time to hydrate your hands and feet with an easy to make homemade sugar scrub. So here are the recipes of homemade scrub and some of them have just only one ingredient or two so dont feel hesitate to make it in your home.

Ingredients

  • 50 percent white cane sugar
  • 50 percent vegetable glycerin to soak the sugar
  • Slight amounts of aloe vera gel, vitamin C crystals, or anything healing that dissolves in water
  • Few drops of necessary oil if desired (Larry advises combining orange and lavender)
  • Plenty of ground hibiscus powder for pink color (if needed)

Mix the ingredients in a bowl. Take a small amount of scrub onto your hand and massage gently onto your skin for a minute (the scrub will actually tighten up your skin). Leave on for 3 to 4 minutes before rinsing.

Let me warn you earlier that youll want to use this sugar scrub on your full body. I started on my face, returned to my desk, and my skin felt so baby soft that the skin on my neck felt like smooth, so I required to use the sugar scrub there, and on and on.
