Perfect Eyebrows Shape

Perfect Eyebrows Shape

Similar to haircuts, eyebrow shapes arent one-size-fits-all. Your ideal brows depend on the sizes of your face, and the right arches can not only emphasize your eyes and make you look perfect, they may even let you get away with wearing less makeup.

The well brow will help open up the whole eye area and work to improve the faces overall symmetry, according to the celebrity eyebrow stylist Joey Healy (Kyra Sedgwick is a client). The right brow will make you look fresh, rested, young, healthy, and overall good-looking.

So how do you go about knowledge how to do your eyebrows? For starters, your unique face shape plays a role in responsible which eyebrow shape looks best for you. We consulted Healy to break down the right brows for a range of different face shapes, so you can find your own golden arches.

Square

A square jaw emphasizes the angularity of your face, so softly rounded brows are the ideal arch for your face. Make sure your brows are not too angular according to Healy. But be careful of making brows appear too round; you dont want to over pluck and make a rainbow-shaped brows.

Round

If you have a round face then you need to make sure your brows are very angular, Healy advises. Because there is a shortage of definition in a rounder face, the right angled brow can bring out and define facial bone shape that is lacking or not present. For round faces, a higher arch is suitable.

Long

A long face is considered by features that are vertically straightened, Healy explains. In this situation, it is essential to extend the tails of your brows east-to-west to really enhance horizontal features.

Heart

Though bold brows are in trend, a heart shaped face will absolutely want to steer shy of this trend according to Healy. Because of the little jaw line and weight on the upper portion of the face, it is significant to have brows well-manicured and extremely groomed.

All Face Shapes

No issue what face shape you hold, there are three ideal rules to understand when it comes to your brows, according to Healy.

1. The head of the brow should start at the bridge of your nose. This point can be simply found by vertically holding a pencil up to each side of your nose bone.

2. The arch of your eyebrows must be about two-thirds of the way out, Healy says. One of the major mistakes I realize day to day is a centered arch. This stretches the dreaded rainbow shape.

3. Dont cut your brows short. The tail should, at the very smallest, end on a made-up line from the surround of the nose to the corner of the eye Healy says. You can allow it to expand slightly further as long as that tail doesnt end lower than where the head begins. Make sure your tails continuously taper to a crisp point to best lift the eye.
